Check In Day

Ahem, okay...I actually wrote a ton this week. All right, not in my WIP. But I have a really cool, fun, tour of Montana going on over at my blog! It's brought some joy back into writing for me after the rough end of winter. Then I wrote several, very long prayers. For some reason, I couldn't say them or think them. I had to write them. There must be a reason that only God knows right now. It might just be getting me to write:-D So I did.

In addition, I've worked on my plot for my newest book.

What did you do and what do you plan for this week?

  1. Well, since God has me on hiatus for a while, I did no writing, nor do I plan to do any this week. But as I work to ready our home for graduation company and parties, the wheels are turning. God is planting ideas and giving me scenes I can't wait to write. But for, He's said wait.

  2. I received my line edits in the mail! I tell a little about it on my personal blog if anyone is interested.

So that's my work coming up for this week.

For last week, I did some planning on my WIP. I've been working with my characters, re-establishing GMC and answering all the questions I usually ask my characters or have them talk about in their journals. I've figured out that I need to change my heroine some. She had no goal!

  3. Let's see...

I started a Shoutlife page. That took up 2 hours that I SHOULD'VE been writing!

I haven't blogged much, on anything!

This week I hope to finish reading my critique partner's manuscript. I hope to complete another chapter on my WIP.

Angie, I'm glad someone's had a great writing week!

Mindy, I hope you're jotting those scenes down so you remember them! Please don't do like me, dream them and then forget!!!

    But I did wri

  4. I don't know what my last line was supposed to be.

Missy, I didn't see your comment! Looking forward to checking out your blog!

  5. christy..............Get to it !

  6. Like Angie, I've been very busy. At work I've been rewriting our entire website which should go live at the end of June. I've written four commercial scripts. Tomorrow we start shooting the video.

I've blogged. On my WIP I finished a new scene in chapter seven, and I hope to finish the chapter this week. I created three new one-sheets, one for each genre. This meant I had to plot new storylines for each book in the series. I plotted three new books today.

I also finished my painting! My first 16" x 20". When I get it framed I'll take a photo of it and post it on my blog.

  7. Congrats to all. Sounds like everyone has been busy. And Jenn, I didn't know you painted. Cant wait to see a picture.
    I've been working...and working.
I'll get to the writing soon.

  8. Thanks Anonymous/Cousin Wendy! Keep on me... I need that virtual kick start.

    Glad you're back, Lindi!

  9. Christy,

Cousin Wendy is great at giving that kick start. That girl goes a mile an hour. She needs to come and stay with all of us for a week. We would get a ton done. She wouldn't have it any other way.
It's good to have people like that in our lives.
