Major Congrats. . .

Going out to our own Jennifer Hudson Taylor. Jennifer finaled in ACFW's Genesis contest not once, but twice! First in the Contemporary Romance category then in the Historical category.

We're so proud of you, Jenn. No one is more deserving. You, my dear, are definitely called.

  4. Mindy, thank you so much for the thoughtful post. Everyone's encouragment means so much to me. After a number of disappoints, I feel like this is God's way of telling me not to give up. It's like He's saying, "Keep going and I'll bless your efforts in the right Season."

  5. Yippeee, Jenn!! Congrats!!

It is God telling you to keep going. That has happened to me over and over. Once I got back a terribly disappointing contest entry. I sat here and cried because the comments were so harsh, the score so low. I sat here in a funk and decided then and there that I should quit writing. Do you know, not twenty minutes later, I got a phone call that I had finaled in the Maggie. The poor category coordinator. I sat on the phone with her and cried, poured out my heart that I had just given up writing.

    God is good!
