Mission Accomplished. . . .

but only by the grace of God and for His glory. Of course that includes a lot of prayer. Our team appreciates all the prayers from everyone while we were gone. The picture posted is of Kay, our team leader, Patty, and Maria. Maria is from Mexico. She and her husband helped us work on the community center. These ladies had taken time out of the day to pray. I don't know why or what about but that's not important. These types of projects only get done by praying and following God's will and way.
This was the first mission trip I had ever gone on and there is too much to process to begin to post about it all in one post. I'll be posting more pictures and stories on my personal blog over the next couple of weeks. Come on over and take a look.

Mexico is beautiful and so are the people. And they love to worship! They had tambourines, keyboards, guitars and awesome voices. The Spirit of the Lord is in that place.

Missy's son is leaving today on his mission trip. Let's pray with her for her son and his team.

Lord---we ask you watch over this team as they travel far from home to do Your will. We know Your grace is going before them, will walk with them and will keep them safe in all they do. Let Your light shine from their hearts as they work and fellowship with the people in Kenya. Lord, lay Your blanket of protection over them as only You can do. We thank you in advance for the blessings You will bestow upon their hearts, Lord. We praise You for the things being done in Your name.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Your son, Jesus.

  1. I love that you were able to go and do this. I am looking forward to a time that our family can also. Thank you for sharing and I am praying with you for Missy's son and his team.

  2. I'm glad you got to go and thanks for sharing.

  3. Thank you, Lindi. I really appreciate the prayer.

And we'll want to pray for Angie's daughter as she travels next week!

  4. Sounds like an awesome time, Lindi. I know my daughter loved her time there.

I'll be lifting all our kids up.

  5. Yes, Angie--Mariah is leaving next Thursday right? We'll def be praying for her and you and the family.
