Check In Sunday

It's check-in Sunday. I don't think we've had one in a while. Let us know what you've been up to.

  1. Well, I'd love to check in and say how much I've written but I had an unexpected contest on my blog this weekend. I decided Saturday morning to see how much I could write and I decided to have a contest to see who could guess how many words I could write this weekend.
Cousin Wendy was waiting on someone to post to see if she could gauge how much we write in one day.
But she's the only one who's guessed.
So, I"ll be back later tonight to officially check in.
If you're reading this, you may want to go over to my blog and help out cousin Wendy.

    She says thanks!!
    So do I!

  2. Hi all,

Well, contest is over so I can post how much I wrote. I managed to get 3015 words written over the weekend.
I'm excited and hope to do the same throughout the week and next weekend.
    Write on!

  3. Lindi~ 3K words is great! Way to Go!

I wrote for a little while tonight and hope to get a fresh start tomorrow.

I have been busy this weekend - helped hubby lay sod on Saturday - Today, my MIL watched my daughter and Billy and I went to a movie and to eat Japanese food. I was thinking of Camy's new book while I ate sushi, enjoyed a manhattan roll and sat in front of the grill for the cook to thrill us with all that fire! It was good, I ate too much and am suffering now.

Thanks for restarting the Sunday Check-in. I have missed them.

  4. Hmm,I wasn't ready for check-in. Although I did write this week. Both in numbers and on my one sheet. Plugging along. That's what it's all about, isn't it?

  5. I've been revising. I finally printed my book and have been reading. I almost got through the whole thing on Saturday. I was a bum, stayed in lounging clothes all day, and just read with my red pen in hand. I'm afraid I haven't cut out much yet, though! I did mark one scene that I might be able to cut, as long as I work in the growth of the relationship somewhere else.

So no new words for me right now. Just revising.

Lindi, congrats on all your words!

  6. I wrote this weekend as well on my way to the hospital in Greensboro. I'm averaging about 2,000 words per day.

My father-in-law was moved from ICU yesterday to a regular hospital unit. Hopefully, he'll be able to go home in a few days. He's doing very well. He's talking, eating, and they have him walk a few feet everyday. I'm so proud of him!

  7. I spent the weekend resting with my hubby. We took a little bit of time that we haven't had in forever. Then I focused on the speech I gave tonight.
