Check in Sunday

It's Check-In Sunday-a tell all of what you've been doing all week. Go to the comment sections to find out who's been doing what.

Cindy, are you out there? Anybody else from the M&M conference? We hope to see you here today.

  1. I've written about 1500 words on my ms. I've also spend one morning thinking of scenes so the middle of my story (which is where I am now) doesn't linger....which it's doing.
I have to get through this which is why I'm up at 6 something on a Sunday morning.

  2. This has been a stellar week of writing for me. I plowed through rewrites of three and a half chapters, adding about 3000 words. Now I have to address a very intense scene that will take a lot out of me emotionally. Since the kids are off school tomorrow, I think I'll hold off until Tuesday to do that.

  3. I feel very accomplished this week. Along with rough draft finished of the first chapter of our new non-fiction book (Michelle Sutton and I) I attended 2 days of intense financial management classes, 3 days of another business conference and classes, read more of Demon-A Memoir, and decided to compete for Mrs. Montana next July. (I needed my hubby to consider and decide if he was agreeable. He is:-D)
So, now we are finishing the last day of the last conference and the last travel for then next 2 months. Whew! I can't wait to get home to my own pillow, pets, and food.

  4. I've written about 8,000 words on my WIP. I finished reading the "Sands of Time" by Susan May Warren. I agreed to write a historical scene on a Christmas blog that some ACFW authors are going to set up for the holidays. It will be a short story. I'm helping start a local Christian writer's group. We will be the Carolina Christian Writers. I'll be serving as President and we now have a Secretary and Treasurer. We hope this group will eventually be a local ACFW Chapter. If I'm quiet, its because I'm working on a self-imposed deadline to get my WIP finished.

  5. Yeah for the F.A.I.T.H. girls this week! And for all who visited but didn't post, I'm sure you got a lot done, also.
