Check In Sunday

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there:-)

Today is such a nice day. Montana has been very cold at night and in the mornings, but the afternoons are glorious! Here'a a peek:

So looking back at last week, what did you achieve?

And looking forward to this coming week, what do you plan to achieve?

Always make a plan. It may not be perfectly executed, but with a plan, you have a much higher level of achievement.

I plan to write Wed from 9a-1p.m on Insanity Rules. I plan to work on the workbook from How To Write A Breakout Novel for my second book, What She Didn't Know. When? Hmmm, this is important because your goals must be tangible and achievable. Okay, I will do some of the workbook each day starting Monday. At least one page a day through next Saturday.

Personally, I plan to use my new Pilates Workout Circle at least 3 times this week. So I'll plan for M/W/F. Then if I can, I'll do a few more. Why? I want to be healthy and fit into the beautiful dress Tosca Lee loaned me for the Mrs. Montana pageant. (It's just a tad snug right now so I'm too self-conscious. I won't be after toning up a bit.)

I think that's enough since you really don't need my minute by minute daytimer:-)

But now you have the gist of it, go for it. What's your plan to achieve your dream?

  1. I wrote about 5,000 words in my WIP. I joined an historical critique group that will start this week. I also joined the Christian Alliance Blog. I finished my agent's questionnaire.

I plan to write about 5,000 more words this week. Finish four critiques, create my agenda and presentation for Carolina Christian Writers for this Saturday.

  2. Great goals, Gals. I'm going to try and write 1000 words a day this week. Everyday. Well, not Saturday. I'll be at a retreat.
I know Missy's out of town for a couple of days.
What about the other F.A.I.T.H. girls? And anyone else out there?

  3. Welcome to the CFBA, Jenn!

I've been busy playing puzzle with my manu. Some scenes didn't work where they were, so I'm moving them around. I'm in the process of revising to submit this. I'm hoping all will be together by end of November and I will spend December editing. I plan to submit the full in January.

I also plan to purchase Margie Lawson's lecture notes to work with my crit partner. Probably the Deep Edit, but the Empowering Emotions sounds tempting too.
