Sunday Check in

Today is the day we all agreed to catch up with each other and say what we've been doing. Well, I've been pondering a whole lot:-)

I have my rough draft done for Insanity Rules (with my writing partner.) Now I have to determine what needs polishing. Then I'm onto my schedule for the upcoming year.

I've been thinking about it a lot. I have to fit in worship, work, family, writing, speaking, classes, Toastmasters, and competing for Mrs. Montana. How? Yep, still pondering.

I haven't even considered how to fit in housecleaning. sigh.

I'm taking a fun little class online called Simple-ology 101. It's silly, fun, and...helpful. I'm beginning to focus a little more on my target goals. (Which is what the little class is for anyway.)

My hubby and I went for Chinese after church to have a few alone moments. My fortune cookie (yeah, I know they are not real) said to dress with simplicity and clarity.

I thought about it in terms of my class online. I think the most important thing for me to begin working on is to simplify and clarify my goals. Then keep simplifying and clarifying. I believe that will be my theme for this upcoming year.

Welcome to Angie's year of Simple Clarity:-)

And what are you up to today?

  1. Sounds like a good plan for the new year, Ang.
This week I've been working on re-writing my almost finished book into a first person story.
Started the book in the wrong spot, rewrote the beginning and am moving along.
    How about everyone else?

  2. Plugging away on a rewrite also. I'm at 24K word count and my target is 60K. Rewrote the beginning for what I hope is a better hook and have rearranged the internal calendar so the time frame is tighter. So far, so good
    ;)

Went to see Casting Crowns on Friday. I've got a video clip on my blog. Check it out!

  3. I love Casting Crowns!

I submitted a proposal on my new book to my agent. I'm still working on the last three chapters. I wrote about 800 words on one manuscript and 800 words on a brand new manuscript. I also managed to send off my Golden Heart entry before the deadline.
