Time Flies

This time next week it will be Christmas Eve. Imagine. Another year gone by. Remember when your elders used to tell you time flies and you didn't think you could wait fifteen minutes for dinner to be ready?
Now I"m the elder. And time does fly by. I laid in bed Saturday night not dreading, but just mulling over the busy day I had planned for Sunday. Not hardly a minute at home.
And that's the way it was. I shoved a bologna and cheese sandwich down while decorating our tree. (Yes, I"m very late with this, sorry!) So I got a lot done, but then had to be out the door again.
But I'm thankful that I'm able to handle it all. By handling I simply meaning being able to do it. Physically, mentally and willingly.
I think of all the people who need healing. I ask God to place His arms around them and fill them with His power, perserverence, and presence. Oh, how the love of God can change a persons life.
Amidst all the busyness this season, lets keep our focus on Him.
And all will be well.

  2. YOU ARE NOT AN ELDER. BECAUSE IF YOU ARE, I AM TOO!!!

:) Okay, I'll quit yelling now. LOL

I do agree, though. Time flies faster every year. Before we know it it'll be 2008 and we'll say, where did 2007 go? Is Christmas already over?

    So let's enjoy every minute!
