Painting Pictures

This last week I spent a lot of time learning how to paint pictures with my words.

Here's what I learned:

Open the photo album in your mind. Take out one photo of one moment.

Now, describe it in the form of a story.

Instantly memorable. It's like a freeze frame of time.

Love that advice!

Now I know what the photo above is of...but if you were telling the story, what would it be? Hmm?

I'll clue you in tonight, after I hear your versions ;-D

PS I'd love it if you visited me over at God Uses Broken Vessels for my daily posts too!

  1. Angie, first let me say you have some strong genes! I can see you in your boys.

For the story: Joy in a moment of male bonding after the wedding. Relief that it's over. And the fun of forming a friendship with your exchange student.

    Okay, am I close? :)

  2. Okay, I'll try.

This is the groom after he posed for a photo with the guy who caught the garter. These three guys are happy they didn't catch it-but they know the groom is now a happily married man---they're just glad it's not them!

  3. LOL! You guys are great! But no...
This is actually my oldest son's engagement party in January. Since we consider our exchange son one of the family, this is a picture of all my sons! They are laughing at "2 down and 2 to go." And they are all just plain hams! They are all very close and it is definitely male bonding!

    Good guesses!
