A Crazy Life Full of Moments

I put up a post today that my daughter graduated. I look back on this year and see all the huge moments in a dot-to-dot pattern that put me where I am today.

I still have some dots to reach. My oldest son gets married this month and my youngest becomes the last one left home.

I plan day by day right now.

I see my daughter and my son move into new places in life.

And I will also.

It's these pivotal moments that make us keep going. I think God knew what he was doing when he gave us festivals and celebrations. We need them to mark the days of our lives.

Come see me over at God Uses Broken Vessels.

PS The little girl in the red dress on the wall behind is my daughter as a one year old. Baby to young woman.

  1. The times, they are definitely a changin'. But we wouldn't change those experiences for the world, would we?

  2. So cool! Tell her congratulations!!

I'll be where you are in a week and half. But this is my first to graduate, so I'm not a pro at it like you are. :)
