A Great Historical Novelist

I'm here in Atlanta, Georgia where we attended a great Braves baseball game last night. The Braves won, though not without a fight for that last run. Today we are visiting Stone Mountain and some of their fantastic attractions.

Tomorrow we will visit one of the most famous author homes in history--Margaret Mitchell, author of Gone With the Wind. As many times as I've been to Atlanta in the past, I've never made this visit. Having been a writer for most of my life, and truly inspired by Gone With the Wind, it's hard to believe I'm just now getting around to it. Hopefully, I'll have some pictures to post. Have a blessed day!

  1. Jenn,
Welcome to Atlanta!! I know you are having a great time.
    Enjoy your visit.

  2. Well, I hate to admit that I've lived in Georgia for 33 years, love GWTW and have never been to the Margaret Mitchell house.

I really need to get out more. For fun, ya know?

Have fun! Glad we're having good weather :)

  3. Sounds like a great trip, Jenn!!

My oldest went to the Saturday night Braves game with some friends, and they weren't so lucky. Braves lost 5-4.
