The End

I just finished the first draft to another short historical. Of course, I've still got to do the run through edits, update the synopsis, and work on my blurb for my sell sheet, but that feeling of finishing a first draft is still with me. The satisfaction of working on something and finally finishing it brings a joy and uplifting to my spirit.

Then there's the anticipation of what am I going to work on next? Sometimes I can hardly finish a project before I want to jump on something else. What happens to those plans of celebrating and relaxing for a while?

This is my seventh completed book. I'll not only revise it, but if the targeted publisher rejects it, I'll be adding about 20K words to target other publishers. I already have a plot twist in mind for this. I suppose that's how it goes. They are never really finished until...printed.

  1. Ahhh, THE END. It's been so long since I've come that point I almost don't remember what it feels like.

Congratulations to you Jenn! And keep up that writing, girl!!!

  2. Yaaaayyy, Jenn!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!

I love that feeling. And I love moving forward with the next story. The planning is so fun for me. :)
