In San Francisco for RWA National

On Thursday as this posts, I'll be in San Francisco for Romance Writers of America's National Conference. Attending is such a thrill (and here's a big thank you to my parents for donating the Frequent Flyer Miles to get me there!).

I'm writing this before I leave, so I can't tell you how everything is going. But now (Sunday), I'm looking so forward to my first RWA book signing. There will be over 500 authors there signing books donated by the publishers, raising money for literacy. It takes place in a huge room. So huge it's almost overwhelming. Since 2001, RWA has donated over $600,000 to literacy organizations.

I've dreamed about being a part of the Literacy Signing! Every year I attended, I would think, will I ever be one of the authors sitting here?

The time is finally here! In God's perfect timing.

I can't wait to write again next week to tell you how everything went. In the meantime, check out this link to see what authors took part:

I hope you have a great week and weekend!

  1. Hi there,

I just wanted to drop by and congratulate Belinda on her great result in the FHL Contest.

Well done - you must be so excited! :)

  2. Kara, thanks for stopping by! Lindi was in Florida over the weekend so probably won't see your post til this week. She'll appreciate it so much! I was able to be at the conference so got to text her right after the announcement. She was so excited! :)
