Makes You Want To Smile!

My daughter is getting married Friday. Here is a photo of her bridal party at her bridal luncheon held over the weekend. It was a beautiful day. Her step-sisters hosted the fabulous luncheon where we got to spend time with family and the bridesmaids.
I have a really good friend who loves to take photographs. She posed the girls and this is one of my favorites. Reminds me of reading a fun book. You know one of those books that just makes you smile.

What is the last book you read that made you smile? Can you remember the part? The characters? Let us know! We love to hear what you are reading.

  1. YOur post made me realize that I've mostly read more serious, dramatic stories recently. Right now I'm reading Julie Lessman's newest--A Passion Redeemed. It's excellent! And it does have its funny moments. Charity is always plotting something or getting into trouble!:)

The wedding is almost here!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!

  3. Well, every book I read had better make me smile at the end. Otherwise, I feel like I've wasted my time.

  7. Mindy,

I agree! I've only read a couple of books recently that haven't made me smile. But I tend to gear toward the smily kind.

  8. Hmm, I'm reading In the Shadow of Lions right now. It's excellent fiction with a mix of timelines from modern day to middle ages. I love that kind of thing. So even though I haven't cracked a smile in it yet, the fact that I'm intensely fascinated by the book makes me smile. I so love reading a good book.
