My Favorite!!!!

It's Belinda. Back from Minnesota....the ACFW conference. What an amazing time. There were so many really nice, really wonderful, really great people there.
From the minute we (Missy and I) arrived it was non-stop something. Either classes, meetings, worship, food, friends, and just plain good conversation. I called my DH Friday and Saturday night at 1 something in the morning because we were so busy all day.
The awards ceremony was nice. A wedding was happening next door so we had dance music as background noise. That was rather interesting. A lot of great authors won awards--pubbed and unpubbed.
Let's see....hmmm.....what else.....Oh, lots of agents and editors. That was really nice!!!
But, my favorite part? The best part of it all?
Seeing the F.A.I.T.H. girls!!! Omigosh!!! What amazing women these ladies are. They go nowhere without a big smile and an even bigger heart. Running into them was like running into rays of sunshine in the midst of all the craziness that surrounds a conference.

Jenn---Even though I don't like to shop I'll go with you anytime--remember beautiful girl, the glass is half full!!!!

Mindy--you look fabulous in everything you wear and I'll let you order my pizza any day!

Christy--the girl with the glorious hair and even more glorious spirit--let's go get another $2.25 bottle of coke--thanks for the loan!!

Angie---I will not ride another upside down roller coaster--and that's a promise--thanks for keeping us looking fabulous in our photos!!!

Missy---what can I say, girl. We made it through another one--you are an amazing person---you keep me sane--you keep me laughing--and you keep me real!!!! (And you fly with me!!!)

These are just little tibits of the girls. They all are so incredible and I'm honored to be a part of this group. I know God has amazing things in store for us. And I can't wait to see them fulfilled.

  3. Oh but Lindi, how else would we know how a character would feel? No equilibrium, nausea, exhaustion...such great research! Everyone has to do their research, lol.
