It's The Funny Week Between........

Christmas and New Years. A lot of people are off work. Those who aren't normally aren't very busy. Unless you are in retail, then I'm sorry. I apologize.
It's the crazy week where the working folks usually get to leave their jobs a little early on Wednesday, enjoy Thursday then go back to work on Friday. I know a lot of people did that last week, also.

This week leaves us wondering where 2008 went and anticipating 2009. I heard a great sermon last year on the first Sunday in 2008. It has kept me inspired the whole of the year. I'm not kidding. (Missy can verify this statement!!)

What I wish for everyone for 2009 is to be inspired. Inspired to do what God has in store for us to do. Inspired to listen for His voice, learn His Word, have the gumption and guts to do what we feel He's leading us to do. To do what He would have us do in the crazy world we live in. To go where He would have us go. To stand up for Who we believe in. To stand up for who we are in Him. To tell the world of His love.

Be inspired!!!
Be faithful!!!
Be-lieve!!!

  1. I'm so looking forward to an inspired 2009. I hope to have some quiet time each morning so I can seek out God's inspiration.

I'm starting the year off with a writing challenge: JanWriMo through the ACFW. Goal is to get 50k words done on my next WIP. So, we'll see what happens.

I did 65k words on a WIP in October, so we'll see if God's put another novel in my brain for January. It's all for HIM, afterall.

Hope you had a fantastic Christmas!!!

  2. Hi Lynn,
I didn't know about the JanWriMo through ACFW. Thanks for sharing. I'll check it out.
And you're writing for the right reasons, so I'm sure you'll do great.
And yes, Christmas was fantastic. I hope yours was too.
