Still Thinking About Love.......

Are you? Valentines Day is just a couple of days gone, so I hope that LOVE isn't out of your system yet. Live on it!!

And speaking of love, I LOVE when I get an idea for a story I'm working on. It happened last week. I now know the ending of my book. The real-total-how-this-book- is-going-to-end scene, and I'm very excited.

The problem? I have to change a few scenes throughout the book to support the ending. But that's okay. It's worth it. I knew somewhat how the story was going to end, but I knew if I kept on writing it would all come together. And it did.

But, I didn't write the scene. It's in my head, I know how I'm going to get there. I'm writing and moving the story along. Who knows, it may change a little between now and then, but for now, I'm thrilled.

I know we've talked before about plotters and pansters and those in betweens. So the question I have for today is this:

If you were in my shoes in the story above would you have written the ending scene or would you do like I'm doing. Keeping it in my head and write it when you get to that point.

Check back at the comment section tonight and I'll explain why I am waiting to write my scene. And my reason has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a panster....moving my story along with each word and no outline.

  1. Lindi,
I'd write that scene down! And, be ok with knowing I will probably have to tweak it when I get to it.
Otherwise, I might forget the scene!

  2. Lindi, I'd do just what you're doing because it gives you momentum. Although I might have to jot a note or two so I wouldn't forget. :)

I can't wait to hear how it's going! Are you maybe going to write The End tonight??? :)

  3. Lindi, I do that same thing. I get an idea and just keep it in my head. The only exception is if it's for another story. Then I'll jot down notes so I can focus on my WIP.

  4. Girl, PLEASE just write it so I can read it !!!!

    Miss you !!!

    Happy Belated VD !!
