Where Have the Years Gone?

Oh I wish I could make this bigger, but I captured it from a webshot. This is my childhood friend, Kelly, who used to live across the street. I spent 2 days with her in Chicago last week. I tell you, she and her husband can sure give lessons on excellent host/hostessing of guests!

Her hubby said he couldn't believe we hadn't seen each other in so long. It seemed like we just picked up from where we left off. I think there are just heart friends like that in our lives.

Do you have heart friends?

  1. I have a friend like that, except we met later in life and she's about 16 years older than me. I don't have many friends I've associted with since elementary school or even high school.

    I like that - a heart friend :)

  2. Ang,
I saw a girl last week I used to be bff's with in high school. We hadn't seen each other in 28 years...we had fun catching up and learning about each others families. We are planning on getting together again.

I'm glad you got to reconnect with your friend. You can never have too many of them.

  3. Seems as thought the older we get the faster the years go by, when I see some of my old friends from HS they look so old, why don't I look that way, ha ha
Not I am just waiting for the Lord to take me home, hate to leave my family, but they all are so busy they don't have time for us any more anyway, unless they need something.
May God bless all of you.

  5. That's one reason why I like Facebook so much. I've been able to reconnect with about 100 people from high school, and about 30 from college. But each year seems to go faster and faster and I worry I haven't reached half my goals yet.
