Atlanta Braves

Jenn here.

I'm writing this on Frday as I'm heading to an Atlanta Braves baseball game! Since this is supposed to be a writing related blog, I'll tell you that I might do some writing on the way down or maybe I'll brainstorm on the new revisions I'm working on to one of my manuscripts. My husband and I came up with a great subplot twist yesterday, so I'm good for a few more chapters into the story.

In other writing related news, this week I received a request for a full manuscript. I've turned in a proposal on an Irish historical to my agent, and a proposal on a Scottish medieval proposal that my agent sent to my editor.

I've ordered new author business cards and scheduled my Christian Fiction Blog Alliance tour for May 19th. I'm in the process of trying to decide which writing conferences I'll attend in 2010. Of course, everything will depend on what I can afford when the time comes, but I'm hoping to be at the Blue Ridge Writers Conference in May, Romance Writers of America in Nashville in July, and the Americian Christian Fiction Writers in Indianapolis in September.

Joseph-Beth Booksellers at Southpark Mall in Charlotte has agreed to do a book launch for me in May. I'll also be signing books in my new 16th Century Scottish Highland gown at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in July.

In the meantime, I'll be cheering, "Go Braves!"

  1. Go Braves. watching them right now at 7:10Pm on Sat, they lost last night by 1 run but that was really good as the other team had so many runs in the first ending. I live in SC and we watch them all summer.
Hubby has been to some games but I haven't can't walk that far.

  2. Yeah, what a game to see!! Last second excitement. :)

I hope you have a great weekend, Jenn! Give me a wave as head back up I-85!
