What's on Your Desktop?

This pic is on mine. My granddaughter and my neice. I love looking at these faces when I turn my computer on. I usually have a photo on mine and it's usually of one of my kids, grandkids or family of some sort.

I know a lot of people who like to have scenes on their desktops. The computer on the desk I'm using at my temporary office has a pic of the tornado that hit Atlanta a couple of springs ago. I guess someone was on their balcony and caught the tornado coming right at the city. It's pretty amazing.

But at my real desk at my permanent office here is my desktop.

This is my daughter and her hubby. She was a maid-of-honor in a wedding last June. I love this picture also.

So, I'm partial to family. What about you? Let's hear what you like on your desktop.

  1. Great pictures, Lindi!
My daughter is on my desktop, on her 2nd day of school. She's got this cute look of anticipation and excitement on her face. I'm more partial to family pics too.

  2. Wow, what a photo of Atlanta! Gosh, I remember that night well.

I'm so boring. I have a standard desktop that comes on the computer! I change it with the seaons. Actually, it's not WITH the seasons. I use a desktop one season ahead. In winter, I use the beach scene to keep me going with hope of warm weather. :)

  3. I have my granddaughter as my background on my computer, then I have a printer, speakersm glue, paper clips, debitic testing kit, scissors, camera, battery charger, Do I need to go on. LOL
I like everything at my figertips as I have a lot of back and leg pain. I also sit in a recliner and have a laptop desk that will turn around with a cordless mouse and keyboard. I use a desktop computer but have the hard drive on the floor and my monitor on my desk.

  15. On my computer screen, I have lots of random, swirling colors. But on my desk, sigh, I have books galore and paperwork stacks.

I'm excited because my hubby is building me a really long work counter/desk :-) He's going to put it in so I have space to lay out some of the work I do (necessary evil) so that I can better manage it as well as my research projects. Yay! I'll have a filing cabinet under my desk too!
