Belinda here.

I've been writing a long time. I really long time. But I keep going. And there's really only one reason.
I believe God has called me to do this, and if I do my part, write, he'll do His part, timing.
And He had great timing this past weekend.

I attended a workshop through the Georgia Romance Writers. It was given by Mary Buckham and Dianna Love. It was based on their book Break Into Fiction.

I am revising my book, (yes, still revising!) and now I have all these really cool tools to use. Simple tools, but not easy. They will ensure my readers are hooked into each scene and are wanting to turn the page at the end of every chapter. I think it was just what I needed at this time.

And I think that's how God works. Like the Manna---only enough for today. He doesn't give too much at once.

So I'm excited to be once again improving my story.

Have you seen God's timing work recently?

  1. I just love that book! So I'm glad the workshop went well. The workshop they did at the M&M conference last year gave me the opening of my new book! :)

I'm so glad it's going well, Lindi!

  4. Yes, God is moving in every part of my life right now. Even though I'm so tired from my day job, I'm distracted, excited about my debut novel, busy promoting, I'm still getting the sequel written. I was so worried I wouldn't be able to do it all, but He is a God who will not put more upon us than we can bear. He will equip us to do what He has called us to do, and I know I'm called to this writing life.

Keep going, Lindi, it's coming around the corner!
