Keep Me Accoutable - Week 2

Christy here. All this week on my blog I've been posting my progress on my current manuscript. I'm posting whether I've written or not. In fact, I lost words this week.

If you're on a diet that's a good thing. However, I was hoping to add words.

This week I learned losing words isn't that bad. In fact, as we revise, we need to tighten words and scenes. We need to lose the flab.

I may not have much time to write this weekend. It's a time to be with family and friends and I'm thankful the Lord has blessed me with those people in my life. But more, I'm thankful for the sacrifice Christ made when he went on the cross.

Let's remember those folks in our prayers, this weekend and always, that don't know Him.  There's such promise to be had in life when you know your Maker, your Deliverer, your Savior.

My writing challenge is still going on!!! Even though it's a special holiday this weekend, if you write some words this weekend, please stop in here or on At Split Ends, my blog, to let me know. I'm keeping up with your comments and on April 30, my deadline, I'll let you know if I reached my goal of finishing my book and mailing it off... AND, I'll announce who's won that gift card and special gift from me. Let's support each other on this writing journey!! Together we will reach our God-given goals!

Happy Easter, everyone! This is the day the Lord has made! Rejoice and be Glad in it!

Hey, losing words is a good thing, when they're the wrong words! :-)

  3. Thanks for the comments, Missy & Rebecca! Lately I've done a lot of cut, copy, paste, and then type more... repeat...
