Celebrate Good Times--Come On!!

Lindi here.

What fun we had celebrating Jennifer Hudson Taylor's release Highland Blessings. It's so much fun to celebrate with friends and family.

May has been a celebration month for me and my family. The first weekend we had a celebration of my son graduating from college.

The second weekend I had a celebration with my friends in El Paso--we were bowling in the USBC Women's National Tournament.

This past weekend we celebrated my best friend since high school's 50th birthday.

And next weekend our family will be celebrating the life of my Cuz Wendy---a frequent commenter here on the F.A.I.T.H. blog--and a dear friend to all of us.

Add to my family celebrations we had Jennifer's first book release, Mindy's final in the Genesis Contest, and my book sale.

Wow!! May has certainly been a month hasn't it?

How do you like to celebrate?

Cara Lynn James will be our guest blogger on Friday---but today, go and visit her at Missy's blog today.

  1. Wow! What a month!

I celebrate in all kinds of ways. But I guess my favorite it to eat out. :)

  3. I like to celebrate by gathering people together at my house.

  4. We almost always celebrate by eating out.

Lindi - there is no way you have a son old enough to graduate from college - you're just college age yourself!!

  5. Lindi, is there such a thing as too much fun? Boy, I wanted to hop in your pictures and have fun with you! So glad you've got so many exciting things going on in your life. It wouldn't do to let you get too bored.

I'll chime in with the other ladies and say eat out at a really nice restaurant. I always enjoy not cooking, and being waited on makes me feel special even though I'm paying for the service in the end.

  6. Yes, the above comment was me. I wasn't logged into my email account so my pic or last name didn't show up.

  7. Um, , eating is my favorite way to celebrate, too! Although, it isn't the best way for me. May has been an awesome month for all of us!

  8. I'm with you ladies on the eating out part. I like to go to a really nice restaurant.

And yes, I do like to have fun, but I tend to get overwhelmed. I have to take one day at a time. I can't think about the next event until the current one is done.

I'm kinda of ready for a calmer June I must say.

But the reason I love to celebrate so much is because it means there is something to celebrate.
