We're Having a First Sale Celebration!!

Angie Breidenbach has sold her non-fiction, Gems of Wisdom, to Sheaf House/Journey Press!! It'll be releasing June 1, 2011.

Angie will be combining her book with a speaking tour where she'll focus on women's retreats and seminars, and also on jewelry sales (more info below).

Here's some info on the book and retreat topics:

God uses gemstones and rocks throughout the Bible to help us remember, pray, respect, worship, and celebrate. You’re invited on a treasure hunt for concepts represented by beautiful stones God created. An adventure revealing hidden treasures and how to prevail over pirates who try to steal it. This unique event is for women who plunge through buried emotions and the unchecked behavior of those closest. Fascinating real life situations use historical pirates, treasure, gemology, and creative analogies. Gems of Wisdom tackles today’s relational issues with biblically based wisdom. Be empowered with confident peace and triumph over personal pirates.

The jewelry:

Gems of Wisdom line of jewelry supports the Sanctuary of Hope Homes in Kenya. I believe in layering significance into everything I do including my writing and speaking. It's not just the message that day. It's how it affects the lives of others deeply everyday. That's why I connect missions to my work. I want to leave a legacy far after I've left this world. I want to teach other people to do the same and inspire generations of legacies.

  10. Eva, thank you! I hope you will really enjoy it. My mom's name was Eva and there's a bit of her in the book. I was astonished to learn how much her life meant through other people after her death. With all the challenges she face, she still lived out her life for the Lord even when sometimes other people like me didn't always see it.
