ACFW Live Blog

Lindi here.

I wasn't able to attend the ACFW conference this year. :( I thought about it often off and on all this weekend. Wondered what classes my friends were in, who they were having lunch with or talking to. I hoped they weren't nervous if they had appointments.

Then there was the awards banquet. I love dressing up. Putting on the nice dress and the shoes. That's just something I enjoy doing. And I enjoy seeing everyone else's attire.

This year, even though I couldn't attend I did access the live blog. Wow---if you can't be there it's the next best thing. I loved it and I thank everyone who had a part of putting together not only the banquet, but the live blog. What an amazing way to stay connected!!

So kudos to all who helped make that happen. I can't wait to hear your fun stories from the conference.

  1. I thought the live-bloggers did a great job, too. It's fun to know the results as they happen.

  2. We missed you so much, Lindi! We did do a shoe photo though that you will appreciate :-)

As pr officer, my duties kept me very busy. I only attended one full class! I did get to the keynote speaker sessions. Tim Downs is a fabulous speaker. I think it would be well worth it for anyone to order those tapes from our conference. Uplifting and hilarious.

  4. I missed you guys!! Can't wait to see the shoe shot!
And Ang, you're photo was on the live blog last night. Looked like you were having a great time.

Missy did you get stuck in the traffic 85? A plane landed on the highway--southbound---at Clairmont. I hope you didn't get caught up in the mess--they said it was bad both ways.

Oh, it was a 6 seater Piper--not a commercial plane. Thought Id better make that clear.

    Glad you guys are home!!

  7. I finally arrived home around 9pm. Had a great time for a first conference, and I got two full requests from agents. Wish you had been there, Lindi!!!

Edwina and I managed to miss the traffic clog by detouring on 285. From the reports we heard the traffic was a mess!

  8. One correction on the live blog. The gentleman I was laughing with in the candid shot is Eric Grimm from the CBA, not Dave Condiff of Christian Retailing. Dave was laughing, but sitting across from me.
