Indianapolis Bound

Mindy here, and I can hardly contain myself. ACFW's annual conference is almost here. Tomorrow I will be on my way to Indy, eager to hug the necks of old friends, looking forward to making new ones, and ready to learn and grow as a writer. I've got my wardrobe assembled, business cards and one sheets are ready, chocolate is packed (this writer will wither without chocolate), along with a pot pourri of incidentals.

What am I looking forward to most? EVERYTHING! But if I have to narrow it down to just one, I'd say I'm looking forward to seeing what God has in store.

Are you attending ACFW or any other conference? What are you looking forward to most? What are you hoping to take away?

Happy Tuesday!

  2. See you there, Mindy! I'm praying for God encounters. You know, those situations set-up by God that aren't planned. He's good like that.

  3. Like Lynda, I can't go this year. But I am going to a local conference in about 3 weeks. Michael Hague will be there and I'm very excited about that. He's doing a one-day workshop.

You guys have a great time at ACFW and I'm looking forward to watching the awards via live-stream.

  10. I'm looking forward to it all, but this year I'm especially looking forward to just being with my writer friends. I get to bring one of my writing students for the first time, so that's pretty special.

Of course, a good appointment wouldn't hurt!
