The End of a Challenge

Christy here... On my blog, At Split Ends, the Inspiring You Challenge is coming to a close. If you began this challenge with me earlier this month, please pop over and let me know of your progress. For those of you who reached your goal, I am giving away a gift card to your favorite office store or good ole Starbucks. It's my way of saying thanks for coming back and helping to keep me accountable.

My Little Rabbit
Last night we headed out for some tricks and treats. I never realized Halloween involved so much running. But when trickin' and treatin' with my 5 year old daughter and 4 year old nephew, these kids only know one speed: RUN!

By the end of the night, they were ready to crash. Overload of sugar plus the surge of energy had caused them to bottom out.

When you are met with a new challenge or project, how do you approach it?

Do you pace yourself and do a lot of planning, or do you just run like the wind toward the new opportunity?

  1. I'm the type to weigh everything and plan first. I love the planning!

  2. PS - To answer your question, it depends on the project and how excited I am about it. If it is work related, I might drag my feet. If it is writing or family related, I'll jump in and hit the ground running.

  3. She is adorable!

Depends on the project. For some reason, I'm a pantster when writing; very organized in most other areas. I'm trying to train myself to be organized in writing!!
