Review and Giveaway: One Year Alone with God by Ava Pennington

Missy Tippens, here. When Revell and the author offered a free copy of this book for review, I jumped on the chance because I'm fascinated by the different names for God found in the Bible.

One Year Alone with God: 366 Devotions of on the Names of God by Ava Pennington didn't disappoint. The author has laid out the book with a table of contents so you can search for particular names of God if you like. (Elohim, Yahweh...) And for each day, she gives Scripture readings, a short devotional, a prayer and then something practical to consider.

I found the devotionals very accessible and full of interesting and helpful insight. And since I'm going to give away this copy to one lucky commenter, I'm going to have to buy my own copy! :)

Please leave a comment if you'd like to be entered in a drawing to win this wonderful book! I'll do the drawing this weekend.
