One Last Christmas

Mindy the music lover here with yet another touching Christmas song. I first heard this a few weeks ago, recalling the news reports of the story in the song. It's the story of strangers reaching out to make a little boy's dream come true.

As you listen to the words of this song, I hope you'll catch a glimpse of mankind at its best. Oh, and you might want to have a tissue ready.

Happy Tuesday, y'all.

  1. I hadn't heard anything about that story or the song. Thanks for sharing, Mindy. For years in elementary school, my kids took part in the Math-a-thon to raise money for St. Jude's. This reminded me I need to keep contributing.

  2. Yes, St. Jude's does so many good things for so many kids. What I loved most about this story was when the Dad put the Christmas lights up for the boy in September. Then the neighbors followed suite and, pretty soon, the entire town. That this one little boy could touch so many lives is truly a miracle.

  3. Yep, Mindy. That's the part when I started boo hooing. Very moving.

  4. I'm sorry. I couldn't do it. I listened to it for thirty seconds and started crying before anything happened. It's just too emotional and I'm a wimp.

  5. You're not wimp, Ciara, you're just very sensative.

  7. I loved that video. Especially poignant right now as I spend a week with my grandsons who are 2 and 2 weeks. I sobbed.
