Blessed and Thankful

It's a rainy Sunday here in Georgia. With temps in the 40s, we're teetering on winter, though most of us are looking forward to spring.

I've been quiet here the last couple of weeks. My grandmother passed away last Wednesday. I was reunited with my paternal brother the same day.

In the meantime, my daughter's 6th birthday is charging forth. My workplace is every changing, while remaining consistent in its own right. My son will be 14 months old on the 10th. My husband's successes at work are continually a blessing, our mothers remain our support though difficult for them at times, they are a blessing to me.

And personally, the stories keep dancing in my head... If only I had the energy to write them all down and the full days to complete them.

Days tumble over each other and before you know it, days have turned into weeks, have turned into months, and into years.

So, Seize The Day! Be blessed and thankful for each day you are given. And....

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths."                     Proverbs 3: 5,6

  1. Christy,

I'm so sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing. I pray the Comforter be near you and your family during this time.

    Blessings,

  2. It's so true. Life moves forward with or without us. It's so easy to get caught up in the busyness of daily life. As writers, in order to achieve our dream, we have to plan for them and carve out time. It's not easy. It's hard. You have to really want to be a writer to write.
    Charge forth, Christy.
