Google's New Gmail Motion

First it was the Wii, then the Kinect, and now Google's Gmail encouraging us to move the body in order to connect with technology and to communicate. Google wants to get rid of the keyboard and mouse. The idea is that our bodies were not created to sit around and be stagnant. (Tell that to all the TV couch potatoes out there!) Glad to know this was an April Fools joke.

I agree. We were not created to be as physically lazy as we are these days. Obesity is hurting our health and even our children--gradually increasing juvenile diabetes to an all-time high.

When I watched the video on Google's new Gmail Motion, it looked a little cumbersome to me--like trying to learn sign language in order to use it. So it might be a great sign language tool.

Watch it and tell me what YOU think. Cute little prank for which they went to a great deal of trouble to accomplish. Someone has way too much time on their hands!

Don't miss today's post on my blog that shows a flexible, bendable, page-turning e-reader that could soon be available! Check out the video here.

  1. That g-mail motion business was an April Fools' prank! If you click on the demo. it tells you!

  2. Hey Lynn, I edited my post to reflect it. Thanks! I thought they were losing it.

  3. That's unbelivable! (The corning thing)
