A Week of Highs and Lows

What a week this has been. One filled with exuberance, as well as devastation. The planned and the unplanned. That's just how life goes, isn't it. Yet through it all, God is still in control. Nothing slips past Him. He does not sleep. He does not grow weary.

Praise You Lord.

Today, let's take some time to offer Him thanks. Start your comment with "Lord, I'm thankful for..." and then go from there.

Lord, I'm thankful for my family, that they are healthy, and that in giving them to me, You granted a little girl the desires of her heart.

Now it's your turn.

Happy Tuesday, y'all. And don't forget to pop on over to my personal blog, Divine Imagination. This week's author interview is with Lynette Eason. You could win her brand new release, A Killer Among Us.

  1. Lord, I'm thankful that you are still in control. I am thankful for my family, friends, good health and this Faith blog and its ladies who inspire me so!

  2. Aw, Jackie. And we are thankful for you and all of our readers/visitors.

  3. Jackie, we're thankful for you, too!

It was quite a week, wasn't it? Mindy, I loved your prayer.

I'm thankful for so many things it's hard to list them. But I'll start by saying I'm thankful for a healthy, happy family.

  4. You're right, Missy. We have plenty to be thankful for.

  5. Well, since family and writing friends have already been taking care of (and I give two thumbs up to both), I'll give you guys my next best...

Lord, I'm thankful for Your provisions. Whether financial, physical, mental, or encouraging, He is always there providing before I even know what I need.

  6. I'm thankful for the opportunity to challenge myself and go full force after my dreams. I'm thankful for the friends that surround me in support of those dreams. I'm thankful for the amazing surprises God has for me on this journey. Some that really make me understand how deeply He loves me.

  7. Lord, I'm thankful for You, for Your spirit living in us. May we rest in the blessings of Your love and may we continue to witness Your name everywhere we go, in everything we do.

It has been a crazy week.

  8. Lord, I'm thankful for the opportunities You bring and that You never leave us nor forsake us in spite of our weaknesses, blindness and our laziness. Thank you for being the Rock in our lives, the encourager we need to keep going.
