A.D.D.

Missy, here. I'm sorry I'm late posting today! I got online last night to write the post, and well...I got sidetracked. Do you ever do that? Get online to do ONE THING. Just one task you need to complete. Then an hour later, you close your computer and realize you never did it? {sigh}

I do that all the time. It's pitiful. My sister says I need to be tested for A.D.D. I got online and did a little research on adult ADD and don't think I have it. But I do tend to get distracted easily from a task. Thankfully, I don't do that while I'm writing. I can get into a story and not budge for hours. I've literally worked until I heard the alarm clock go off in the morning.

No, it's only when I get online that I have this problem. Or when I'm cleaning. I go to a room to get a load of dirty laundry and end up cleaning the sink. Or I go to the kitchen to wash dishes and end up in the laundry room folding a load of clothes. And of course, I do it when I'm getting online to do important things like write blog posts! :)

So forgive me for being late today. I hope you'll share some of the funny ways you get off task...

  1. Oh, how funny. I've now changed the title of my post. But if you got the first round by email, you saw the original title. ADD and Sharing a Verse.

    Guess what? I forgot to share the verse.

    Oh, my.

    I guess I'll do it next time. :)
