Inspired Quotes

Mindy here. A couple of years ago, a dear friend of mine was facing a second battle with breast cancer. We cried, prayed, and cried some more. Not long after the diagnosis I came across a plaque that read, "I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I know Who holds tomorrow." I had to get it for my friend.

Now cancer-free, she has tossed that same phrase in my direction on more than one occasion. So much so, that it's almost like an inside joke. But I LOVE that quote. It makes me step back from the panic and chaos and go, "Yeah. God's still in control."

Do you have a favorite quote/phrase that inspires you? Please share.

Happy Tuesday, y'all.

  1. I've always loved this quote. It's one that I put on Facebook as a fav...

The place to which God calls you is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet.

  3. I love the quote by George Bernard Shaw. You see things and you say, "Why?" But I dream things that never were and say, "Why not?"

    Other favorite quotes of mine:
"Never doubt in the dark what God has promised in the light." (Raymond Edman)
And this one I don't know who said, it might have been something I heard in church: "For God to move in me, for God to use me, I have to first take my eyes off myself."
