Ben's Big Day - Big Deal

Mindy here. No, you didn't lose a day. Lindi and are trading this week, so she'll give you the low down tomorrow on Ben's--cough, cough, cough--choice of fiance.

Yes, tonight is the culmination of Ben's quest to find love. To find a wife. Whatever he found, I hope happiness is there too.

I don't know about your neck of the woods, but around here, spring is springing like crazy. Flowers are blooming. Goodness, daffodils have been in bloom for at least a month. The trees are covered with fresh green leaves. Here in Texas, though, it's all about the Bluebonnets. When the Bluebonnets are in bloom, spring is really here. A couple of weeks ago, when I retreated to the ranch, I saw a few. You should have heard the squeals.

"Bluebonnets!"

Yes, they really are worth getting excited about.

What says spring where you live?

Happy Tuesday, y'all.

  1. In Atlanta, for me, it's the blooming of the Bradford Pear trees then the azaleas. Beautiful!

I love your Bluebonnet picture. Amazing!

  2. Lindi, the Bradford pears are pretty. All those poofy white flowers. Ours are losing their flowers now, replaced by leaves. I haven't noticed any azaleas though. I planted five or six azalea bushes last year, then lost all but one to the drought. Sigh. That lone bush hasn't bloomed yet.

  3. Mindy, that photo is amazing!! They're the most gorgeous flowers!

Our Bradford pears are past peak. Daffodils are mostly gone. And I just noticed my azaleas starting to bloom. Spring is here!

  4. Hasn't this been a crazy weather year, Missy. For us, we had snow, ice, and crazy cold temps a year ago. Then one of the most blistering summers on record. Now a mild winter. I think the plants are so confused. I know I am.
