March Online Course

Christy here. I suppose the online study I've been doing at work must have pushed me into a study mode, because I recently signed up for my first ever online writing course.

"Plotting Via Motivation" led by Laurie Schnebly Campbell, found at Writer U, is a course I first heard about at my local ACFW chapter about a year ago. A recently published author mentioned this course had opened her eyes on so many things in her manuscript and she highly recommended the course. After a couple of the FAITH Girls shared their success with the online course, I knew this was one I needed to check out.

Finally, Laurie Schnebly Campbell was on Seekerville talking about the March workshop coming up for "Plotting Via Motivation" and I knew this was my time to take part in this class.

Thank goodness, lurking is acceptable. The welcome email said so. We all know how daily lives take over and by the time I'm reading the course material, lurking may be all I can handle.

But I'm optimistic that this course will be good for me and my manuscript.

What about you? Have you had success with online courses? Care to share your experience and recommend any future courses for me?

And on a serious note, please remember to continue to pray for the many families across our country that have lost loved ones and their homes due to the recent storm activity. All across the country's Heartland and South, storms are ravaging homes and splitting up families. May the Lord guide these families and comfort them during this time.

  1. Christy--praying for those families. It was a devastating day.

So glad to see you at WritersUniv. You'll love it!

  2. See you online, Christy.

I'm also praying for the many families affected.
