Tea Time In Augusta

Lindi here.

My sweet friend, Hildie McQueen, who writes paranormal romance, invited me to a tea hosted by her church, The Vineyard Church, in Augusta, Georgia this weekend. August is famous for the Master's Golf Tournament which is coming up next month, but these ladies made it famous for fellowship.

Hildie had a fabulous hat!! And her shoes were very cute as well.

The room was decorated in purples and greens and wisteria! It was beautiful!

My mom used to live in Augusta, so she traveled with me. We had such a fun day!

And look at all this great food!!

The big news? We made new friends. (This is Judy here to my right!) The ladies were so nice! There were a lot of avid readers, which was good since I did a short talk southern fiction. There were also some aspiring writers!

Again, we had such a fun day!

Have you ever been to a tea?

Don't forget next week we are starting the A-Z Challenge. We'll be talking heros and heroines in the month of April here on the F.A.I.T.H. blog!

  2. I adore teas. I love speaking for them too. But we have a family tradition of an Easter Tea and a Christmas Eve Tea at my house. I love putting them on and going to them.
