#AtoZChallenge ~ R - Rhett

Christy here... The only Rhett close to my heart is Rhett Butler.

Mindy struck a chord with me on Tuesday. I have always loved all things Gone With the Wind,so my first experience with a real hero (aside from Star Wars and Han Solo - I never was much of a Luke, girl) was that of Rhett Butler.

Never, did I want Scarlett to end up with Ashley. What was she thinking? Why, Rhett had everything she needed and wanted.

Rhett was intelligent, handsome, suave and had means to take care of himself. He was a black sheep, and he ran the blockades, which I thought was very cool ;)

Both photos below are from the same scene. Can you guess where Rhett was in both scenes?

  1. I always end up not watching Gone With the Wind completely because something comes up when it plays on television. It's a really long movie so I think I should choose a free day and sit down and watch it from start to end.

  3. Jnana--Yes, you should watch it all the way through. Rent it or Netflix it--whatever people do nowadays. I think you'll be glad you did.

  5. I don't think I've even managed to see it the whole way through either! Never finished the book either (shame on me!)

    I must rectify this!
