A-Z Blogging...the letter "K"

Missy Tippens, here. I love to write and read romance novels. One part of them that I love (and really enjoy the build up toward) is...the Kiss.

There's just something thrilling about wondering when it'll happen. Waiting, maybe having a close call or two. And then...finally...the first kiss.

What's your favorite kiss in a book or movie? One of my favorite movie kisses is in Hope Floats. Ahhh....

For writers, one of the best posts I've read with tips for writing a kiss scene is written by my friend and fellow Seekerville blogger, Julie Lessman. Julie is a master at drawing the reader into the story and making us go crazy for that kiss! If you're interested in reading her post, click here. And then be sure to come back and tells us your favorites!

  3. Yes, romance is all about the kiss. You know, Julie did a workshop on kisses at last year's conference. She really likes to drag them out. Such a master.

  7. Oh Castle, Castle, Castle...even though we've been given a few kisses from that show. We are waiting for the "first" true love's kiss when they both admit their love. Not a kiss for undercover ops or an accidental one. We're waiting for THE kiss ;)

  8. Angie, I know!! But they'll have to be really careful, or they'll end up with a Moonlighting scenario! They'll ruin the tension.
