Mother/Daughter Relationships

A mother’s blessing to her family starts in the home
Angie here: Today I'm introducing mother/daughter relationships. Roxanne Packham graciously spent an hour on the phone with me last night and we'll have a lovely interview next Wed. with her. But please enjoy learning about the amazing woman who has a heart for teens, moms, and Romanian orphans.

Roxanne Packham has a lot to say about mother- daughter relationships. “There is not a perfect mother-daughter relationship. I have good relationships with my 70 year old mother and my 90 year old grandmother.  I also have a pleasant relationship with my 18 year old daughter. However, none of these relationships are perfect and all of them have a different dynamic.”

She says that starting the inspired31.org ministry was inspired by her relationship with her daughter.

Create a beautiful home by embracing your family, traditions and love

Roxanne Packham joined with her teenage daughter, Hannah to create Inspired Design, an idea-provoking book filled with stunning photographs, treasured family traditions and a plethora of truly inspirational tips for creating a warm and welcoming home.
Whether seeking unique ways to entertain, celebrate with friends, begin new family traditions or showcase the family history, talents and passions in the home’s interior design, the Packhams have shown the way. In doing so, they have utilized the beautifully structured pages of Inspired Design to reveal the classic truth that any home is made more beautiful when it is filled with love, joy, and the determination to make those who enter it feel welcomed.
Sales of the book go straight to Heart of Hope (a ministry that advocates for orphans and at-risk children in Romania) and other selected charities. The Packhams’ unified mission is to change lives one heart at a time, starting with the home.
This is a gorgeous book of user-friendly ideas for the average American homeowner who wants to make their dwelling a personalized space of beauty without spending millions of dollars in the process. This is a spectacular instruction manual for those looking to make their home more beautiful; a perfect book for any do-it-yourselfer. The pictures are gorgeous and inspire the reader to want to try a new look and take the time to make special finishing touches.                                                                                          www.RadiantLit.com
