Mindy here. Okay, think back twenty years. Or even ten.

Who were you then compared to who you are now? Are you the same, or have you evolved? Not just in your thinking, but who you are as a person.

In recent years, I've come to realize how crazy it is for us to ask sixteen and seventeen year olds what they want to do when they grow up. Yet we expect them to think about their future and what they want to do for the rest of their lives.

Heck, I didn't figure out what I wanted to do until I was forty-one. And I would never have imagined writing anything when I was twenty or even thirty.

How have you evolved? Have your goals changed? Does what you want out of life differ from what you wanted five, ten, twenty years ago?

Happy Tuesday, y'all.

  1. I've changed a lot, too, Mindy. I think we all do. It's just part of the process of living our lives. I guess it'll be a life long journey!
