Passion 2013-It's Time!

It's that time of the year again--the Happy New Year time. Do you have plans? Are you going out?

My hubby and I have what we think are the best plans. Passion 2013 is here! And this year we are volunteers.

January 1st through the 4th there will be 60K+ college-aged students at the Georgia Dome. They'll be in community groups, they'll be hearing from incredible people like Beth Moore, John Piper, Francis Chan, Louie Giglio. They'll be worshiping with amazing worship bands, Jesus Culture, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Kristian Stanfill, the amazing Christy Nockels, and of course, my fav, David Crowder.

The theme, Worship and Justice will be running rampant at the revelation that 27 million people are currently being enslaved world-wide.

Yes, 27 million people.

Bonded slaves, sex slaves-humans are trafficked in horrific numbers today in 2012-soon to be 2013.

There will be 4 stations where the students can give to help this cause--Rescue, Restore, Prevent, and Aware. I'll be working at one of those stations.

Please be in prayer for these students, the volunteers and all the people enslaved in this world today.
