One of Those Weeks

Diana here:

It's been one of those weeks.
Yes, those weeks. You know what I'm talking about right?

Things break or die (my car battery and now I need tires) or the crockpot lid isn't on right and the chicken could be used to build a house, or my favorite--Mr. Quiet says something--anything really, well because it's one of those weeks.

So this week needs to be fixed fast because I'm running out of week. It's Friday not many hours left to salvage this mess. Prayer hasn't worked-yet. I can't turn back time.

Whoops there's the phone...be right back.

So prayer does work. Got to love how God does that.
My neighbor who has ALS called.  His wife needed help switching him from the wheelchair to his comfy chair. His smile of gratitude, his "You are an angel to help me," helped me to change my look at my week.

I have a car that runs and we have a new battery. I have Mr. Quiet who loves me and will eat chicken that is hard enough to build a house with.

It's wonderful to see God at work--even while I write this post.

  1. That's so true, Diana. I just hate when things go wrong. I don't do well when everything gets chaotic. But then we're reminded of how good God is. How He cares. And how the simple blessings in life mean the most.
